Hey, fellas.
In a few minutes, I'm shutting down the computer and packing it away.
I'm moving tomorrow, and so I probably won't be online for a few days. I may be back really quick, or it could be weeks, I dunno. Regardless, I WILL be back.
I doubt most of you will be able to contact me until I come back, and I won't be in contact with hardly any of you, so I just wanted everyone to know that I haven't died.
I'll get back to you fellas when I'm in my new house.
Peace 'till then.

Too much junk
Well, another month... It's time for my monthly Blog update!
I'm moving into a new place this coming Monday. There will be a brand new BHB HQ...
I never realized how fun that is to say.
BHBHQ...
BHBHQ...
BHBHQ
BARBEQUE
... *ahem*...
Please, excuse me. That was uncalled for.
Anyways;
I'm moving into a new place. Everything is packed up and nearly ready to go, so the inactivity pattern you've been seeing in me is going to continue for a while.
I'll get back to you in a while.
I'm going to TRY to throw something together to entertain you people soon.
See you later!

You will land with a thud.

Okay, I know I said I wouldn't keep from commenting in this long, but nothing is happening that is worth talking about.
However, something came to my attention a few days ago, which I think I should show to you fine folks. The Tom Fun Family Orchestra, which as you should know is my favorite band of all time, is releasing their debut album on January 29th.
EXCITING, RIGHT?
Okay, I can tell it's way more awesome for me than it is for most of you, but you have to check these guys out. I probably already made a post explaining in full detail how much I love these guys, so I won't go on anymore. Just watch this video, it'll be worth it.

I need to stop doing this.
As of tomorrow, I will have abandoned my blog for a month, and I can't be doing that.
Anyways, I'm back to school. I'm learning all about mixers and whatnot, so I'm quite certain I'll come out of this whole thing with a better understanding of music. Fun fun!
School means talent shows, so keep an eye out for that.
I don't have a whole lot to say, but I needed to keep this fella updated.
I don't want to be going on about my mundane life's happenings, but when you are a musician who never writes new music, you don't have a hell of a lot else to write about.
Allright, that's long enough.
Talkatchas soon.

Easy Come...
...Easy go.
I had to give the new accordion back. I also gave the man the hundy back and told him to tell me first if he ever were to get rid of it.
He seemed to like that.
My accordion now feels leaky and sounds angry.
I still love it, though.

I Heard Banjo.
That festival kicked ass. I recommend it to everyone.
I came home with a new accordion, $100 and a T-shirt. Quite wicked.
I may have to eventually give the accordion back. The fella left me kind of in the dark.
I played with a band of multi-award winning musicians. I need a full backing band someday.
A bunch of pictures can be found at my Flickr page. Check HERE
I also just applied for a job at Tim Horton's.
Who knows what will happen.

Website Update!
It seems that overnight, a new FORUM section has magically popped up on the website.
So, go ahead, sign up and chat with other users. I'm still playing with the settings at the moment, and I won't be on for the weekend, so you'll have to be a bit patient.
I wasn't going to make a forum until I did something significant, but here it is anyways.

BucketHat-Bluegrass
Firstly, I'd like to say that, thanks to Nick L. (Mentioned in an earlier post), I have a new, shiny peice of hosting here at buckethatbobby.randomsociety.com. It's a pretty sweet deal. My website is back up, now.
Thanks, Nick.
Second, There is a bluegrass festival coming up, which I will be attending. It looks pretty awesome. There is a slight chance of me playing on saturday morning sometime between 10:00 am – 10:40 am at the open mic, but I am not really a big bluegrass player, so i don't know yet.
I may consider shaving for this event.
The festival is at Two Rivers Wildlife Park here in Cape Breton and will feature musicians like J.P. Cormier and the Bluegrass Diamonds.
Being in the wildlife park, I hope to fulfill my lifelong dream, and see J.P. wrestling a bear.
Thanks, Nick.

Bye-Bye, LlammaSoft.
Well, it's been a good run, but my llammasoft hosting is over.
I no longer have a real website.
This Blog will have to do for now, but I'll be trying to find some free hosting somewhere else (because I'm cheap like that).
Many thanks to The N-Man for giving me a free internet piggy-back-ride for this past year-or-so.
I saved all the source files, so the website is going to be exactly the same when it gets put back somewhere else on the web. Maybe even a little better.
Anywho, here's that YouTube video I promised you last week.
To keep up do date on my very seldom updates, you should constantly check my MySpace page and this. It'll give you something to do.

Mappy Hilano Day

OK, would you believe me if I told you that that's a real spelling error? I caught myself halfway through "Hilano" but realized it was funny, so I left it.
Anyways, Happy Milano Day. I have a new music video out on Newgrounds. I'll Probably put an MP3 and the video here once I put it on YouTube. (You gotta love free video hosting)
Anyway, you can watch it, along with all the other MDay Cartoons on Newgrounds now.
We got a lot, including Mine, RedMongoose's, Blue's, Slinker's, IceImp's, RhymesWithOrange's, FrozenFire's, and, of course, Duck-Duck-Sheep's.
All of the cartoons we got this year are amazing, but some of us haven' made cartoons, but still need thanking.
Nick L. For keeping the MilanoCrew/Random Society together for so long.
LeStupidShow's "Jack" for starting it all in the first place.
Adevade for providing many MilanoDay songs.
LlammaLrdsOfSci, Lord Of Ketchup, Wesdood, Derr_Wahnsinn, Yenig, Oru, Nipsta, and all the others for sticking around for so long.
We wouldn't be what we are today without every one of us.

Happy Late Canada Day
I apologize.
I forgot to wish you a Happy Canada Day. You don't mind, though. I know this because you were too busy partying to care about this blog, as was I, and today is the first day you would check this website since June.
Due to this, you accept my apology, and forgive me.
Happy Canada Day, friends.

Monsters Of Accordion 2007
I have just been informed of this "Monsters of accordion" tour which includes three of my accordion playing heroes.
It is difficult, however, for a teenage cape bretoner with no money to get to Oregon for a rock show.
Maybe some year I'll be up on that stage.
For now, though, I can only ask anyone from San Francisco, Oregon, or Seattle to go to this show and enjoy it for me.
The setlist includes Jason Webley, Who I've been known to cover from time to time, Corn Mo, Who I've been known to cover quite often, and Geoff Berner, Who I've been known to cover quite frequently.
What could be better than that?

Milano What?
RedMongoose gives us a taste of what's to come on this coming Milano day.
CHECK IT OUT!
Milano day is coming soon!
You may not know what that is, so I'll explain:
A while back there was a small group of animators on the interwebs who got together on a forum. It started off as a group like the infamous Clock Crew, Lock Legion, Star Syndicate, etc. that is found on Newgrounds.com. As time went on, the differences between these organizations and the Milano Crew became more and more apparant. The most obvious being: THe milano crew featured original characters, most of which had arms, legs, and mouths.
The Milano Crew quickly became a bit of a hit among the Newgrounders, and once a year, we celebrated with "Milano Day". A glorious day in which we all submit a cartoon at the same time, just to give everyone a fancy awesome taste of what we had to offer.
But then, something horrible happened. THe Milano Crew's hosting website screwed us over and stole our domain name.
We then did what any reasonable people would do: we re-formed the group under a different name: THe Random Society.
Today, We're still functioning.
So, anywho... Milano Day is coming up, and yes, I have once again returned to the drawing board to create another cartoon. It's been months, but I returned, and I'm personally happy with the results.
Milano Day comes but once a year.
...Well, except that one year we all got anxious and had it twice.
CHECK IT OUT!

Shameless web-whoring.

You can now find me on MySpace, Blogger, Flickr, YouTube, Eventful, And any other place you might find the trendy internet peeps.
If you have any of these, add me as a friend or whatever, because I love you all.

JoCo's Cam

Hello Again.
So, you may have heard that Jonathan Coulton had set up a webcam in his studio for a couple of days there, so that we could watch his creative process. As soon as you think the guy's out of ideas, he drags you back to him. The man's a genious, and you should better respect.
It takes a lot of guts to do that in front of 30-50 people at any given time.
Also, I was accepted into Radio and Television Broadcasting class for next year. Maybe I'll be able to do what I do like the pros do it.
Picture stolen from "Juco" from Flickr.
Thanks, Juco.

KillRoy Kills

The Killroy series is over. If you didn't watch it yet, the last episode is right here.
It was pretty epic.
My character had two more lines, and my music was in the backround at the end, there. Pretty wiggid.
Go on, and vote five on this cartoon like you know you should.
-BHB out.

Oh, Yeah!
And the next couple episodes wil be out tomorrow and the next day, and they will rock.
My Feed is getting all messed up. I'm not allowed to go back and edit my old posts, because they'll go out of order on my site.
All the posts before this one may be in random order, or will be marked as "June 1st", which they totally aren't.
Oh, Well.

KillRoy 10
Yeah, so Jameson Rafter, A.K.A. Uptown_Slimjim, has released the first part of his three-peice final episode of KillRoy, much in the same way he finished off "The Buffoon & Co."
I had a small part in this, though my echoey room made the recording sub-par.
Go on, Show your love to the man.
He can be found at www.JamesonRafter.com and you can watch the new episode HERE.
Allright, that's all.

ROCK XTRAVAGANZA!

The talent show performance.
That was the greatest performance we ever pulled off, and none of you will ever see it.
It wasn't recorded.
Sorry folks, that's the way things roll.
This means that by missing todays show, you missed:
-Wiggid behind-the-back solos
-Accordionists jumping off stages
-Wiggid behind-the-head solos
-Fits of rock glory
And much more.
We should totally go on tour.
In other news, I got honor roll status this year. That's effed.
Today was amazing.

I'm so Trendy!
I just finished uploading a bunch of Pictures to this "Facebook" website you youngsters keep going on about.
You can check them out here, I guess.
Yeah, I'm not much of a face-booker. I'm still mad at myself for getting hooked on MySpace. I have to be THE trendiest teen rock-accordionist this side of the Atlantic Ocean.

Okay, this is it.
Yeah, I know, I've said this before, but This is my new blog, and I'm sticking with this one.
Myspace blogging just Isn't for me, and the blog.com thing was weird. This is associated with google, I beleive. Well, having a Gmail account apparantly automatically gave me this account, so I figure, the less accounts I have the better, right?
Try keep everything in one cluster.
So, this will be my new Blog, and I'll try keep it updated from time to time.
